Hello again. After some very busy weeks I have finally been abale to upload all those pictures which were waiting for exactly this. Tday I will start with a major travelreport about Otmar Hadaiers visit to the famous tankmuseum of Saumur. This is part 1of 9, so there will be several updates to this and if you like those pcitures, you should come back within the next few days for more.
The work on my book abut the Sangamon is proceeding well. The layout is finished, the pictures have been sorted out and the plans and a few things more are finally done as well. Currently I'm working on a CD or maybe a DVD which will go along with the book. This should take only a few days until I will be able to finish this too. The text for the book is currently under work and being corrected by a very good friend of mine. So as sson as this is finished too, the entire book will go to the printer. As soon as this will happen I will let you all know. The price for the book without CD/DVD will be 44,-- Euros without shipping. The price for the book including the CD/DVD should be around 50 - 52,-- Euros but I will let you know exactly as soon as it is available.
Additional I have just received informations that an article about my model of the Sangamon will be published in Great Scale Modeling 2009 a special issue of the Fine Scale Modeler Magazine.
Would be great if you will come bakc for me photos cause I have uploaded more then 1200 of them and Iwill post them all within the next weeks. Keep on modeling, René Hieronymus |

If anyone here is interested please be so kind and let me know. Off course I will publish a few things about the book so that you can see at least some parts of it in advance. Here we are again! And as promised I will post the first of two parts of my travelreport about the Museum of the Austrian Air Force in Zeltweg/Styria. 8 of our group went down there and we had a lot of fun as you can see in some of these pictures! The biggest surprise was perhaps our tour guide which was a former Austrian jet pilot who not only flew the Draken but several other types as well. With a total of about 11.000 hrs of flight time you could surely speak of competence! The tour was very interesting and we were able to take as much pictures as we wanted. Each of us was allowed to take a seat in a Draken too an offer we all accepted, even so that some of us had some "small" problems getting out of that tiny cockpit! Well we all are no longer 17 years old! Only Arne our "smallest" guy did not get enough and tried afterwards to get in an even smaller cockpit but see for your self.
Part II will be posted in a few days. In this I will post several detail photos of the Draken, so please come back for more if you like and keep on modeling, René Hieronymus |
