Here we are back again! After our last update we encountered some serious problems with our server due to which the website went offline for some days. Please apologize for that. But finally we have been able to fix all problems. Nevertheless should you find something which seems to be wrong, please be so kind and send us a short email and telll us about.
So here we are with some brandnew updates since the last time. First will be Part I of my already promised Travelreport from the big modelshow in Ried/Austria. I hope you will enjoy the photos and come back for more. There will be at least 4 Parts due to the number of photos I took. And the next travelreport is coming too.
Gottfried Wiwod just returned from a trip to the Westcoast of the United States, where he was able to visit the Midway Museum and several other locations. Off course he took some photos and I will post the first of them within the next few days.
Heinrich Seidl one of our members has finally been able to meet with Albert Moser who took some great photos of some of his magnificient shipmodels. You have to see them, believe me! His first model on this website is the Americo Vespucci. All scratch build mostly from wood and some brass as well. |

This is the next update and the final one for this week. In a few hours I will go to the Euromodel-Modelshow in Ried here in Austria. This is perhaps the biggest modelshow here in Austria and some of our group will be there too. Hopefully we will meet some old friends as well as some new one there. Off course I will take as much pictures as possible and post them here in a few days. My update for today is a another one of those unusual aircrafts, even so that this particular aircraft was widely used and for a pretty long time too. But it is a pretty rare sight as a model. I simply call it "Stringbag".
Our board is coming to a start finally! José Chaica has posted some pictures of his truly amazing 1:72 Casablanca Class CVE, the USS Manila Bay. This is one hell of a project and believe me, I know what I`m talking about. Take a look at those pictures and tell us what you think about this still ongoing project. Personally I wish José all the luck and patience with this project!

I could not resist to do another small update, simply because the last one was pretty small and there are still a lot models on my shelve, waiting for their turn to be posted. So here is another of those unusual aircrafts of the US. Navy. I called it "Prolonged Fireball" Take a look at it and let me know if you like it. Next update is coming soon and ther are plenty of them left. |
